Property vs Shares – That old chestnut!

Wall St has endured a week it would rather forget and in tough times like this, the old – property is better than shares debate cranks up another gear.Recently, anyone holding shares was riding high off the back of 20% annual capital gain. The stock market was king and the real estate industry had a real challenge laying a glove in the property vs. shares fight. Now I love a good polemic and this should get a few people talking. Are shares or property the best investment?
